We stayed in Madison which is kind of centrally located. Mammoth Campground looked nice and the sites a little more isolated.Also, at Mammoth,there are a few stores and a restaurant and gas station. Plus,you're a couple of miles south of Gardener,Montana where you can get groceries or something to eat.Make sure you go inside the Inn at Old Faithful.It's supposed to be the largest log structure in the world and the lobby is beautiful.The food is good and decently priced.
