Yellowstone in late July with no reservation--Am I crazy?

I would recommend that you stay in West Yellowstone, MT and drive in. With the loops and the way they are set up I felt it was more convenient to stay outside of the park and not have to un hook and move around.
We stayed last summer at Grizzly RV Park.
