Yellowstone in late July with no reservation--Am I crazy?

Plenty of options outside the Park but with that being said, I like Madison CG and although it may not be centrally located to every feature of YSNP, it sure beats driving in each day from West Yellowstone. I say make the reservations at Madison..IMHO.
