Yellowstone in late July with no reservation--Am I crazy?

over 980,000 visitors to yellow stone last year in july and probably 95% had reservation. good luck but i think you will have some very disappointed children if you don't plan ahead. there are several good parks in west yellowstone that are just outside the western entrance. you are making lasting memories for the family. don't spoil them on a hunch
