Yellowstone in late July with no reservation--Am I crazy?

We ALMOST never make reservations when we travel. But, I would never try to go back to Yellowstone in July without a reservation. If you don't, there's a good chance that it will be a stressful, ruined vacation. And I consider every relocation to be a half of a day wasted.
