Yellowstone Madison Campground to old Faithful Alert?

Question

Having a hard time finding a good map to find out if this is going to effect us or not.

Just noticed this "Park Alert".

Craig Pass Closed

The road from Old Faithful to West Thumb is closed until June 11 at 7 am

Is this going to have any effect on us if we are camping at Madison Campground and want to see Old Faithful? Anything else that we would be missing?

Madison is north of Old FaithfulWest Thumb is after Old Faithful and to the eastMAP

Friends of mine just returned from there. They said that the Rangers told them that part of the road near Old Faithful had collapsed. Heck, almost all of YNP is sitting on top of a giant lava caldera. Some day....
