Yellowstone Web Cam - looks too crowded:)

Most Yellowstone roads closed yesterday (Monday). Nobody at Old Faithful when I looked this afternoon. Quite a bit of snow however.

When we snowmobiled a couple years ago through Yellowstone we watched Old Faithful erupt in a blizzard, awesome! Can't wait to go back to Yellowstone sometime.

Opened the link and today was the first time I did not see a live body.

Crowds might be getting a little smaller - watched the 7:41 Geyser, first in the light of the new day, with only 10 other live viewers - Never gets OLD!

Here's the information on YNP weather. If you save the link, you'll be able to see what the weather averages have been by city within state, by month over a variable number of years, and its free. If you save the link, you won't show up in shorts when there's snow on the ground. :)

I was up there four years ago in early May and it was much more crowded than I expected. I wish I was there now. I've got at least 3 more years before I can cut loose and retire.

Now that I've found this, I take a look every morning - this is a great service that allows you to see so much more than just the Eruption of Old Faithful.

With the size of the crowds watching you can tell Yellowstone is still Active.

Lets see how it looks in October.

Grand Geyser appears to be erupting (8:05 PM MDT). :) My fave! Not too many folks out after sunset tonight - pretty chilly. Forecast low for West Yellowstone tonight is 25. (Warming up over the week - no worries, amandasgramma!)
