The road less traveled.
Chip - ontariofarmerExplorerWOW!!!!! there are some GREAT photos here......sure wish we could find a place around here were we could boondock.
The best we can do is on some friends property, but there's not a lot of privacy. - Roads_Less_TravExplorer IIFrom our RV travels in Uath/Wyoming last summer --
Our signature pic is from a spot we found to boondock on Utah's spectacular Bicentennial Highway.
Here are pics from boondocking / lunch stops in Flaming Gorge... - Aurabbit79erExplorerJayW900- What is stopping you from moving to California? Could it be our high cost of living? Regular gas at the local Arco station right now is $4.35 a gallon.
Groceries and everything else goes up along with the price of gas.
Just the cost of doing business out here.
I'm unemployed right now, part of the millions of other Americans across the country who are unemployed.
My budget is pretty tight.
Job hunting is really tough, but I still try to get out once a month on an adventure in the RV.
February was canceled because of a broken flywheel and starter.
At least it died on the street right in front of my house.
I should have it fixed and back on the road for a March adventure, maybe two adventures to make up for February.
My minimum distance RV adventures are between 10 miles and 60 miles.
The local mountains aren't too far away.
A trip to the desert is a minimum 2 Hour Dr.
160 to 200 miles to my favorite spots.
Since I'm not working I try to go during the middle of the week and stay 3 to 4 days.
I guess we all want to be somewhere else at some point or another.
I applied for jobs that are closer to the desert.
Wish me luck, the good kind of luck, not the other kind.
I hate that other kind of luck. - jayw900ExplorerI so dislike living out this way

More desert mining with a mining club. All I can say about the location is that it's in the Mojave desert. Great fun exploring, mining and campfire night life. Then get up the next day and do it all over again.
Good mining, Great people, and Awesome food was brought in by awesome club members. Go RVing!!
And they do this once a month.
My kind of club.
Looks good what did the gold weigh? - ReneeGExplorerLooks like a lot of fun.
