- monakaykExplorerEven though this next photo is not of us actually camping, I just had to share it with all of you. On the road to tour Mesa Verde NP. As you can see...we never found a picnic area with tables, but when kids are starving...you just have to make do with what you have. So we took out our camping rug to sit on,ice chest/food & put up the awning a bit above us and sat under it for a nice shaded picnic area...right off the road. So I guess you could call this 'boon-dock-picnicking'. LOL:B
