"Roughing it" at Ahtanum Sno-Park last spring for a Jeep club snow run and clean up. Our local clubs do alot of volunteer work on garbage clean-ups, trail maintenance, and teach responsible off-roading, to help keep our public lands open for all to enjoy.

Neat spot and photos EuroCamper. Doesn't look like there is room for a long setup like ours here. sigh.

This is BLM land that used to be dispersed camping, but due to high use they began regulating it. It now has designated sites with pit toilets and picnic tables. Still, it's great primitive camping, very similar in feel to Devil's Garden in Arches N.P., but without all the National Park regulations.

Hey canuck 1, don't tell anyone. I might not be able to get that spot next time I go there.

The three dots by the trees are us and two other couples camped for a few days.


This one is my wife at our evening campfire. The white dot on the farside is the only other camper at this time. Our friends arrived the next day.

This was taken last weekend in Okeechobee Florida while camping with some friends out on a 350 acre ranch



The glow you see is coming from the bon fire. I had to snap this picture pretty early as the moon was pretty big and once it came up, it ruined the stars in the sky!

nandj - great spot. Thanks for the coordinates. I'll be down that way in September and will be sure to mark this as a good overnight spot.
