Wonderful pictures Travelingman.
Last time I was out at Toroweap you could camp right out at the point. I understand that's not the case anymore. How far away is the campground now?
The campground out by the rim that you are referring to is a day use area and where we were is only a few hundred yards from the rim. In the photo below, those mountains seen are on the south rim, this is seen from our site.

- camperfoolExplorerI love that old 1973 star craft pop up. My dad use to have a 1974 year with the hard tops over the beds. His cracked all over the place and he patched it with bondo. I think that trailer is in the dump now.:(
We had many good camping trips woth it and great memories and thats what its all about:) - BearmanExplorerCrowsnest pass in Southern Alberta. This is the Atlas Stagig area about 6 KM north of Coleman Ab. We are headed to the Yukon this summer for 3 months to do some Jeeping and quading and just general all around good camping. I will also be doing some prospecting as I have a sluce box that I rigged up to carry on my quad and also be powered by the quad, go see if I can make my millions LOLOLOLOLOL. It will be just something fun to occuppy some time, if I even see any color I will be thrilled. am also looking forward to catching some big fish for the smoker. If anyone knows some good boondocing areas anywhere in the Yukon, please let me know, and yes, I always check things out with the Jeep befor I drive the unit in. It will be just me and the wife and our 2 fur kids AKA bear bait :W

Hey does this count as boondocking? The above shown trailer wouldn't make it up the hill! (different hunting trip)

El Dorado Nat. Forest, Ca. Last hunting trip. Notice all the duct tape. We have to use about a roll to keep her together every trip. This spring, we finally upgrade to a Regular TT! This one's a '73 Starcraft.
This is just a picture of the surrounding area that I thought came out kinda neat.
