Northeastern Sierra, late May, 2014, about an hour after sundown, elevation 9500 feet:

Camping in the Eastern Sierra. With the tent facing East, we awoke to the sun rising over the Sweetwater Mountains. This is a place that would be very hard on our fifth wheel.

Just last weekend at Welch Village in Welch, MN ... New pup was really well behaved... so was the wife :-)

Geeze, I haven't skied at Welch Village for years. But since I'm now near Duluth.......;)

Would you mind sharing the approximate location? I've got a great spot to share with you that I took my E2 for a few years but the family grew and had to trade up to a larger in closed trailer. I really miss the remote locations that I was able to squeeze into. I noticed that larger trailer in the background and got me interested.

Spent six day boondocking near Canyonlands National Park, April 2014.

Woke up to a little snow on the ground one morning. My cheapo Harbor Freight solar setup enabled me run the furnace and lights every night.


Not a bad view to wake up to everyday.


This was my nearest neighbor from Tuesday through Thursday. The weekend brought a few more campers.
