Not really a favorite but none-the-less a really cool pace to visit. "Rattle Snake Saloon". Anyone who has owned (or own) an Allegro knows where Red Bay, Alabama is. The saloon is a restaurant/bar in a cave and getting there is 1/2 the fun. You board an old truck bed and the driver takes you down to the cave. Hang on!! It is a sharp drop down but the driver has done it a thousand times. When you get there you sit at a table and they take your order like any other restaurant but none like you've ever eaten at before. Really cool! (No rattle snakes presently make it a home) Also you should stop along the way to the Coon dog cemetery. It is a cemetery just for Coon dogs and the markers though sad, are interesting to read.
