Your favorite place you've been

About 10 years ago I started a new post asking people to tell of a place they have been that was their very favorite and would recommend others to go. We had a huge response and it gave others ideas as to places to go and things to see. I'll start it off by saying that Death Valley is fabulous in October. Beautiful and unexpected. Let's hear about your favorites and we'll hopefully be able to check them out too.

  • We like Glacier Meadow campground between East and West Glacier entrances. Not so much for the campground although it's got everything we need, we like it for the location. So much to see and do in the area.
  • National Park - Glacier, MT
State Park - Ricketts Glen, PA
Part of the US - Southern Utah

X2, except we prefer early June. It's a long drive from NJ, but always worth it. Always stay at Gros Ventre, but also like Atherton Creek CG on Slide Lake and recently discovered Crystal Creek CG further up Gros Ventre Road.
  • Been to several places I love. To name a few: Ninilchik, Alaska (Scenic View RV Park) overlooks Cook Inlet and the “Ring of Fire” volcanic range. Yellowstone National Park, Death Valley, Moab, UT.
  • Our favorite is Grand Teton Park in August to mid Sept. and we like Gros Ventre campground best.
