Last winter we spent a week at Riverside RV Resort in Arcadia, FL. Giving the address as Arcadia, while officially accurate, is misleading. It's about 4-5 miles east of I-75 (exit 170) which is actually closer to Port Charlotte.
The park has expanded the number of sites to about 500 so there are available sites. It has a great clubhouse with a LOT of activities. The weekly rate is in the mid-$300 range. The beaches weren't too far away. We really enjoyed our stay there.
