You're probably already too late for beachfront reservations in February. My parents left the Keys early one year headed north and found RV parks along the east coast that had walk-ins available for 3 to 4 nights as a result of late cancellations or folks leaving early, but you're depending on luck.
I found a KOA near Bagdad, FL. in the panhandle near Pensacola, FL. but I was there to visit the Naval Aviation museum in Pensacola. I did drive down to the beach (about 20 miles). People were walking on the beach, but nobody was in the water. Too cold. Northern Florida in winter gets pretty nippy. I was stationed at NAS Pensacola for two years.
