I found a KOA near Bagdad, FL. in the panhandle near Pensacola, FL. but I was there to visit the Naval Aviation museum in Pensacola. I did drive down to the beach (about 20 miles). People were walking on the beach, but nobody was in the water. Too cold. Northern Florida in winter gets pretty nippy. I was stationed at NAS Pensacola for two years.
I had been looking at a place in Destin, and the place looked great. But, when I looked at their temps in January and February, I was like no way! That's too cold! LOL
