your opinion of Wa costal parks

This might be a little to regional to get much response, but I'll ask. We have reservations now for Pearrygin state park, but it is close due to the wildfires. It may or may not be open by our date, so am thinking of the above area like Grayland, Oceanshores and that area. My question is, do you have a particular park in that area and a special site you like in that park? I know we do at Pearrygin which is our favorite park. If you don't know a park no telling what you will end up with as far as a site goes. This is with a 5er with hook ups and would like to be as close to the water as possible. thanks

    We have been to them all. My favorite is down by the Oregon border, Camp Disappointment with a lighthouse at both ends, the problem is that its very full due its such a nice park, although they do have some dry first come first serve sites. Grayland is also okay, miles of white sand beach, spaces are wide and mostly flat with a few exceptions Pacific is right on the ocean by a little like a parking lot. Ocean Shores is very nice but you have to drive into town as its a long beach walk. Heavily treed, Twin Harbor is older and not on the ocean but close.
