$40,000! You can only be on it for 180 days a year? I guess I don't get it?
lot size does not meet the minimum size requirement as a residential lot.
but the whole camp ground, is under different zoning - Tom_BarbExplorer

...You can do a lot traveling and camping for $40k.
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT! :S I think in the last 30 years of camping and RV ownership we've not paid that much yet for camping fees (everything combined). And have had the luxury of different destinations and traveling all over the USA.
(actually, you can even add the cost of fuel for all those travels in the last 30 years too, it still won't come up to $40,000!)
You don't get to sell your 30 expenses either, on the back end. with the escalating land prices here, that alone would pay all your camp expenses for as long as you hold the property. - Tom_BarbExplorer

for one thing, mallard is entry level tt, that is a lot of money for ony 180 day access.
Anyone can find reasons for not buying. buy the lot get the trailer free. - Tom_BarbExplorerLots of campers come to the Island for the summer to get out of the Texas/ Az heat. others come down from up north for the mild winters. Properties are expensive here, and the camp grounds sux and are over crowded and over charged to boot.
this listing will not be on the market long
Craig's list is as good as anyplace to advertise any thing. any place you find the stuff you want, you still must do your home work. - old_guyExplorerfor one thing, mallard is entry level tt, that is a lot of money for ony 180 day access.
- NanciLExplorer III don't know where that is, but if it was in the Florida Keys it would cost over five times that.
The only difference being that you can stay year round in them in the Keys.
I am guessing that the 180 days there keeps them classified as RV's

Over priced and half that
Double ditto. Not worth it. Also, Craigslist isn't the best place to look for any kind of real estate.
Owning a lot will tie up your money like a time share and you are limited in your destinations even with a network.

In this situation a small cabin rather than a TT would be more to my liking. No matter, I do not go for association memberships.
To each, their own of course.
