Is it okay to like both kinds of experiences (and others in between)? I sure hope so.
I've had some very enjoyable times camping, or RVing if you prefer, in rather crowded campgrounds at amusement parks. I've had great times in lonely tree-lined state and local parks in the boonies. I've loved seeing quaint, off-the-beaten-track towns, and also seeing the sights in New York City or Washington, DC. I've had enjoyable times in my RV driving down Interstate highways (some of which pass through beautiful scenery) and down dirt roads (some of which also pass through beautiful scenery).
I suppose it goes without saying, but if you don't enjoy some type of camping and prefer some other style, then for goodness sakes do what you prefer when the option arises!
