Ebay can be a good source of RV plugs and connectors. Also an electrical wholesaler. Amazon is often a good source but then you need to spend $49 to get the free shipping. CW is always a ripoff (sorry to loyal followers/believers) - their online stuff is ALWAYS "on sale" but you can almost always get it for less elsewhere and usually for a lot less.
I wanted a 5' 30 amp cord so I could hide our autoformer under our TT instead of having it in plain sight at the pedestal. From ebay I bought an L5-30R twistlock female connector for $14.99 and TT-30P plug for $9.50. Also got a 30 amp generator adapter at a hardware store somewhere for around $10. Got 5' of #10 SOOW cable for under $10 at a wholesaler. Total cost about $45 (USD).
One thing about buying a replacement plug & connector is that they aren't molded to the cord and not waterproof, but no big deal for this application. The generator adapter can also be used to connect a 2nd 30 amp shore power cord (twistlock) to make a 50' overall length.
Another option would be to find a new or used (ebay, CL, etc.) 25' 30 amp shore power cord with a twistlock connector at a good price, cut the cord and install a new 30 amp plug. Or not shorten the cord and keep it as a spare. Both would need the generator adaptor.
