Not the cheapest solution but doable. When i was relamping my rig, I was trying to get a mounting standard like GU10 or G4 and then get all the same fixtures so bulb replacement wasn't a goose hunt. What I found was the LED panels are a good choice in illumination and they come with a small molex connector and some have adaptors.
I ended up building my own fixtures, the central lighting having a flat fixture and the reading/task lighting having movable cone reflectors.
