There are many web sites which recommend storing Li at 40 to 50%, again for longest life. So Li owners, if they want best life span, get to start trips with batteries that are only at 50% state of charge.
what kind of Li are you reading about. there are vast differences between the technologys and make up and you cant blanket them in. everything I read is about LifePO4 (I think thats the name of it) which is a lot better than most other ones for our aplications.
