Nice install...
We do this occasionally using a couple of small profile oil-filled 1500WATT electric heaters in our OFF-ROAD POPUP Camper when we are around 120VAC at camp grounds...
We can place one of those O2COOL 10-inch fans (AC/DC/D-CELL) behind them and they really do alot better moving some good warm temperatures around our trailer.
Being permanently recessed installed probably doesn't allow you to do something like this to help move the heat around somewhat...
