I hope that you installed a 50 amp main breaker? It will normally take up 2 of your spaces, and might require replacing pair of 20 amp breakers with a twin breaker, as well as filling up your available spaces. This will protect your cord from being overloaded in the event the campground 50 amp breaker does not trip.
Yes it is pretty easy to install a 50 amp upgrade. Years ago, when Weekend Warrior was popular and well built (before 2004) the dealers could install a 50 amp upgrade where one breaker was 30 amp to feed the factory panel, and several 20 amp receptacles would be installed in the toybox section to run things back there, as well as feed the A/C units from the new panel. It only took a good dealership about 3 hours to make this sort of upgrade. They ran the new 50 amp cord right into the 100 amp 12 pole circuit breaker box, and it was really clean and easy install.
Good luck,
Fred.
