I use my 3d printer to create accessories and replacement parts. I designed a water fill adaptor so that the water hose wont keep falling out as I fill the fresh water tank. I love thingiverse. I have a printer but have to have the kids design me the things I want so this is awesome.

I have been studying that, and for the life of me, can't see how that keeps the hose from falling out of the water port. How does it attach to the port to hold on? It looks like it would just shoot off of the port when the water is turned on.

The one side is designed like the cap that screws on (1/4 turn) to protect the tank fill from dirt. The other side has threads to connect your host to (that goes to the faucet to fill the tank)

It's kind of hard to see, but the adapter uses two tabs to twist lock onto the fill port the same as the cap does.

Portscanner, I'm curious about the center tube that the water comes out of. Is the tube the same size as the center hole in the fill port so it just press fits against the pipe? Or is it a bit smaller to let it slip inside the fill port tube?

smaller - so that the tank can vent through the 4 smaller holes on the perimeter

I see it, the outside fits like the oem cap,
The inside "nipple" fits into the fill hole, acts like the hose going in,
The 90° piece outside is not part of the printed part, it screws on so the hose doesn't kink
