I'll probably try sanding the ends first. That will at least hide the wires and I can see how it looks without destroying the lens.
I don't think tilting it would help. The 1210 LEDs have a 120 degree dispersion angle so it probably wouldn't change much, and we would still see the strips. The DW considers them sort of ugly.:h
So now I still have over 4 meters of strip, 255 individual 1210 LEDs, and no more fluorescent lights to convert. Problems, problems, problems...
