Tenbear, don't tilt it. This is proper location for a vanity light - in front of you, illuminating the face at the right or wide angle. DW is right though, multiple bright dots of LEDs look odd, people got used to fluorescent tubes and globe lights for vanity lights, but this is a matter of habit. Frosting should smooth it down.
PS: after looking into your link, - it can't be too bright. You only used less than 1 meter, or ~200 lumens total. This is the output of 14W incandescent. Though if the color temp is cooler, it might look brighter. A good frosted diffuser is what it needs.
