Adding generator switch on dash
I have a onan 4000 microquite and I'd like to add a generator start / stop switch on the dash. How easy would it be?

And that reason it's not a good one, so correct me if I'm wrong about the reason
The reason is to start or stop the A/C while driving
It is a bad idea to start the generator with the a/C compressor engaged instantly coming on
An even worst idea to shut down the generator with the A/C compressor running
Starting and stopping a generator with a heavy load engaged is bad for the generator, specifically the spikes and back EMF can harm the voltage regulation circuits
OK. I've been doing that. I guess I need to stop that.
