Your radiator fan is only good until about 35 - 40mph-ish then its just the flow of air being pushed through the radiator that cools it, that is why they made clutch fans so they just freewheel after a certain speed otherwise they do more harm than good.
When my clutch fan kicks in at 65 miles per hour you know it and the engine temps starts backing down
