If you have room what I did with a EV4000 Honda was scrounge a stock take-off motorcycle muffler from someone that had put on aftermarket mufflers. I think it was for a 500 cc bike and was very quiet and free. I had tried one of those Supertrapps and was not happy with it. It was behind the stock Generator muffler. I have one a bit bigger on my Onan QD 7500 on our present coach also behind the stock Onan muffler.
