I own a 2007 bigfoot truck camper 1500 series. the original owner of the camper took out the upper cabinets. im working on adding them back in and am wondering if anyone has any experience doing something like this and how you secure them without drilling into the fiberglass shell and risk damaging the camper? any advice is appreciated

However to answer the OPs question, use screws. Make them short enough to not poke thru the outside.
did you pay attention to how they were mounted when you took them out. when I went to the bigfoot factory on a tour they had structural wood bonded to the fiberglass shell then everything mounted to that. yours isn't that old so I would Imagin the construction is the same.. some decent pictures and such would help to see what you are working with.
