I use blocks under the stabilizing jacks and tongue jack. I don't like just throwing them in the pass through, pretty messy to do that.The holder that I made for the 2 x 6 blocks is shown here. I made the 1/4" plywood spacers so the blocks will dry after a rain. The PVC pipe is glued in to the block that is mounted on the frame.

The white ties are not UV resistant and will break. I do like the concept.

A couple of u bolts will do the trick.

Excellent idea. I just pack mine in a milk crate in bed of truck. I'd think the zip ties will certainly last a season. Give you time to decide if you definitely want to keep them there before making it permanent.:h
