Great job, that's beautiful. We had a similar idea and removed our free standing table with 2 chairs and found a bar / bar stool setup which fit perfectly in that exact spot. It cleared up a couple of feet of floor space and gives us a nice view out the windows as well. If we don't care to use that then we have tray tables we can use as our chairs or sofa. Just depends what mood we are in. It also makes a nice buffet if we have a couple of friends over and just want to do snacks and cocktails.
