Can I replace 12v light switches with 110v house switches?

I am sure this has been asked, but I have found little to no info on the internet. Can I replace 12v light switches with 110v house switches? 1. To save money 2. I like the look of a clean, white...

There is absolutely no problem with doing this as long as the sw has the needed current rating. Most resi 120 switches are far better quality.
