What is the quick connect thingy and ball valve on the floor under near the stove top for? If it's a propane connection, I would think it not unwise to have some sort of a guard around the valve to keep from accidentally kicking it open.

The propane valve is/was for the heater. The valve is close enough to the toe-kick that it can't be turned on accidentally. I also checked the quick connect that it doesn't leak. Also, when camping, the table is down the valve is hidden.. I have since drilled a hole with cover in the back floor to use a second tank for the Buddy Heater that mounts on the wall/ramp. Being warm when it's 0* outside is nice but not at the expense of running out of propane and not being able to make coffee in the morning. I removed the paneling and insulated the walls which helps a lot.
