Ceiling AC -- any mods to direct the cold air?

I have a 13.5 BTU Coleman which has a vent on either side. Beyond adjusting the louvers up/down, I can't change the way the AC blows. And it blows RIGHT on the sofa bed at night which is where my son...

May not look beautiful but you could remove the louvres and make some out of coroplast (get it at a office supply/art & crafts store) with fins that direct the air to one side. A hot melt glue gun could be used to stick it together.
