Ceiling AC -- any mods to direct the cold air?

I have a 13.5 BTU Coleman which has a vent on either side. Beyond adjusting the louvers up/down, I can't change the way the AC blows. And it blows RIGHT on the sofa bed at night which is where my son...

I bought some clear Acrylic sheet from HD that was about 1/8" thick and cut and bent to the shape I wanted then attached to the A/C unit to deflect the cold air from hitting me in bed and it works great. Don't even really see it. :)
