I would cuestion any review that has Behr brand listed as "recommended". I paint for a living any won't use any Behr or Glidden paints.
If the ceiling is discolored or stained, an oil paint is a good choice. Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo is an excellent topcoat oil paint. I use a lot of Sherwin-Williams paints, including their Industrial line of goods. They are also a top cuality paint.
