If the ceiling is discolored or stained, an oil paint is a good choice. Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo is an excellent topcoat oil paint. I use a lot of Sherwin-Williams paints, including their Industrial line of goods. They are also a top cuality paint.
X2. I used to paint residential and commercial for a living years ago and even then our quality jobs were done with Benjamin Moore oil paints. Just be careful if you are going over latex-that could be a problem.
