I personally like the prismatic cell batteries like what I have supposedly they dissipate heat better than cylinders. Personal choice.
Have you looked at lifeblue batteries by chance their charge/ discharge capacity is better. A couple of 300ah batteries is alot of batteries juice.

To give an idea, we use roughly 150ah daily. That's leaving my inverter on 24/7 (2ah idle draw, 48ah daily). If I was going to do a new battery bank it would be 600ah if I was going to add a residential fridge maybe add 100ah more for 700ah. I think that would just about eliminate the need for a generator (but still have one 2000w...incase) and give 3-4 day poor solar harvest condition.
Our 500ah doesn't leave us worrying about can we run this or don't turn that on.
