Somehow I'm getting the wrong quote posting.. Regarding the ice in the cooler idea :
I scoffed at that initially but then did a bit of research online, and ran across calculations that state a 2 liter bottle of frozen water can cool a room significantly. Makes me wonder if I can take enough ice to last for 2-3 days in a few coolers. I am certainly going to play with this idea, because it would be great to run the generator as little as possible. I happen to have a big freezer at home with almost nothing in it. So I *could* freeze several 2 liter bottles of ice and see how much cool I can get out of that ice. This guy just took a 2 liter bottle and set it in front of a fan. It's easy enough, and cheap enough, to try.
