Crazy idea here - re-surfacing EXTERIOR with wood?

I've seen this before on other trailers, some of the "teardrop" forums I frequent show some BEAUTIFUL wood trailers that seem to do fine with a wood exterior. It would take some work of course, but if...

Sounds like a fun project if you have the shop space, time, tools and materials.
The only comment I can add here is the challenge of making compound bends with plywood (or any sheet good). A simple, single axis, radius is pretty easy, but if the bend is in two axis, then it gets more challenging. If your trailer has these type of radiuses, you may want to do a little experimenting before committing.
