I did a different test when I installed my Oxygenics, with my shur flow smart sensor 5.7 pump, I turned both cold and hot faucets on full force and had a bucket with marks on the inside. Stated the stop watch as I put the showerhead into the bucket and when the watch reached one minute took the shower head out of the bucket and measured the water, it was exactly 1 1/2 gallons, so that means you will only use 1 1/2 gallons per minute when you take a shower. A five minute shower at full force will only use 7and 1/2 gallons of mixed water. But I do not use both faucets on full force, I turn on the hot full force then turn on the cold just until it is confortable and step in. I have never run out of hot water using this method with the oxygenics with a 6 gallon water heater
