Good morning!I am looking to replace my shower head with an Oxygenics model. I am currently looking on Amazon and there are like 100 options and I have no idea whether they would all be compatible/useful as a replacement for the original shower head.If anyone knows an exact model or has any suggestions as to which one to chose it'd be greatly appreciated.Raegan

I found this one on Camping World's website. I think it's their version of the Oxygenics? Think it'd be of similar quality or should I go with the Oxygenics?

OP, you should go with the Oxygenics and not cheap out. Buy it from Camping World as they have the updated Oxygenics versions, with the on/off button right on the handle. I installed mine this week-end and am disappointed, no better than what came with the 5er. Can someone expand on removing the restrictor?

I installed one in my shower recently and I'm very happy with it. Yes it does dribble when you push the button, but the ad even mentions that. I bought mine on sale.

I put the Oxygenics head in our shower last year and I really like it. We don't turn off the water when we shower because we limit our shower time. We get a good stream and don't use a lot of water. We have only dry-camped, at the most for 4 days, so we really don't have a lot of experience in that area.

Well, I used a hardware store valve to make mine turn OFF. We'll see if it ends up being scalding hot. I've got a month long trip in June. Worst case, I replace it again. At least it's not something really expensive.

No it does not shut off completely. It dribbles.

The dribble is intentional to prevent scalding as I understand it.

I don't have the Oxygenics but folks swear by 'em. IMO if you're on city water, any shower head works OK. The Oxy "might" have an advantage when working off the pump.

Sorry, I don't know the pressure. It's whatever the stock settings are for our water pump. I did not remove the restrictor, just attached the head and started using it. Hope that helps.

Does the Camping World version shut off valve ACTUALLY shut the water off? Several of the ones we've tried don't shut the water off, they only slow the flow a lot. We still get a significant dribble out of the shower head.
I bought the regular version of the shower head and added my own hardware store valve on at the faucet end of the shower.
