Bought an Oxygenics based on recommendations here, and hated it. About like getting hit with a garden hose nozzle on full stream. Pressure, yes, but no spread.
Much happier with the EcoCamel Jetstorm, which "boosts" pressure but gives a wide, gentler spread:

Same with us. Bought the Qxygenics and was very disappointed. Heard about the Eco Camel. Tried and love it.

- AllegroDNomadWell, we did the install. Took a whole minute. Light test. Have not been camping and taken full shower, yet. We like the Fury. Good pressure, Easy op.
- AllegroDNomadThanks all. Gonna give the Fury a try. Will let you know how it works in about a week.

Is the Oxygenics still the best replacement to get good pressure for navy showers?
We bought one about 2months ago for our new Cardinal. Big mistake for me, it spit the water instead of providing a shower spray. Took it off and will find a friend that likes to have their shower spit on them.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerWoowee a lot of waster has flown under that bridge -- was about 12 years ago. No adjustment on the head. I put a slider thumb control to cut back on volume, and a long hose.
Hooked to a stick & brick these days. The softened water reduces rinse time by half IMHO. Can't win...

No low flow head is worth squat unless you can turn it off. This means using a long hose with the shutoff in the nozzle.
NAVY SHOWER reality is a hell of a lot different than NAVY SHOWER buzzword.
- starlordExplorerYes, the Fury is what I was referring to. In reference to some of the comments made above, I also have a six gallon water tank and tend to take longer hotter showers to sooth an old achy body but with the water reducer switch on the shower and turning it to off on the shower head to soap up, I have never run out of hot water.

I purchased a generic spray head that hurts my skin at 8 PSI and 2 gal minute for eight dollars on eBay. I have to throttle it way back.
Which one on Ebay did you get?

I have not seen shower heads that are adjustable for gpm. They exist?
I let my water heater run until it reaches a comfortable temperature. I do that by using a timer and then making a final check at the kitchen sink which is located within one foot of the heater. I then open the shower valve partially to achieve a low flow. That is turned off as soon as a I wet down and begin using soap. Then I turn it back on again at a low amount in order to rinse off. My shower uses about 1 gallon. My wife uses slightly more if she washes her hair.
- AllegroDNomadThanks for all the recommendations. Appreciate the help.
