DIY air cooler
Maybe this has been posted here before, but was new to me. Would be great for dry camping without AC power or tent camping. I may make one just to use in the garage in the summer! Bucket air cooler

But where to get ice for free? Yes I know you can freeze water in the freezer compartment--but mine is tiny (and slow).
I'd love to see a good design for a swamp cooler.
