Maybe this has been posted here before, but was new to me. Would be great for dry camping without AC power or tent camping. I may make one just to use in the garage in the summer! Bucket air cooler
The ice is not practical- virtually all of the cooling this thing produces is due to evaporative cooling (it takes ~100 pounds of ice to equal a 13,500 btu a/c- 100 pounds per hour). Changing 1 pound of 32 degree ice to 32 degree water absorbs 144 btu's.
