My concern with ventilation was not so much the explosion hazard, but the heat build-up.
And yes, AGM batteries *should* be vented as it is possible for them to vent in some circumstances. Again, refer to the internent. However, if you have unvented AGMs inside and your RV hasn't exploded yet, you are good to go... :B
