- colliehaulerExplorer IIIIt sounds like I have a lot to learn about LED's. So it looks like any T-10 base led will work in a RV light. Thanks for the info.

When using LED's, it's not totally about the output of the diode in lumens but also the count total of what's used. IOW, a 12 x 5050 may be as bright as a 36 x 3528 or similar to a 8 x 2835. There is also diffusion from the diode surface to consider. If the chip has a small surface area, it may not diffuse as much light as one with a larger surface area. A user should also be cognisant about power, as well. sometimes, it's better to use LED's that have close to the same illumination if the power demands are 1/3 difference from the higher rated chip. - colliehaulerExplorer IIIHas anyone used the 2538 chip led? It's 400% brighter then the 5050 chip led.
